United Way of Galveston County Mainland

Diamond Refractory Services participated in the DOW Chemical 2nd Annual Fishing Tournament. Proceeds benefited United Way of Galveston County Mainland which distributes donations to local partner organizations, including the American Red Cross, Big Brothers & Big Sisters Gulf Coast, Galveston County Food Bank, and others.

Broad Scope Disability Services

EMCOR Facilities Services was a sponsor and participant at this year's Molson Coors Charlie Kapp Charity Golf Challenge. The event benefited Broad Scope Disability Services, supporting the programs, services, and resources they provide to people and families living with disabilities.

RWJ University Hospital Somerset 

Forest Electric New Jersey was the Longest Drive Sponsor for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset's Annual Golf Classic. Funds raised will help the hospital advance the healthcare services it provides to communities throughout central New Jersey. 
 

Walk of Honor for Our Veterans 

Contra Costa Electric participated in the 2023 Walk of Honor for Our Veterans across the Alfred Zampa Memorial Bridge. The event celebrated our nation’s military veterans and raised funds for the Vietnam Veterans of Diablo Valley and Crockett Community Services District. 
 

Habitat for Humanity Detroit

Repcon and Turnaround Welding Services were Hole Food Sponsors for Marathon's Detroit Motor City Classic golf fundraiser. One hundred percent of the proceeds went on to support Habitat for Humanity Detroit and their work building safe, stable, and sustainable housing in the area. 
 

Boston Partners In Education 

Gaston Electrical participated in Boston Partners in Education’s 2023 Gala, supporting academic mentorship in Boston Public Schools (BPS). Gaston’s leadership has served on the board of this organization and have also participated in multiple events, reading to students across BPS. 
 

Epic Days 

Employees from EMCOR Services Mesa Energy volunteered and supported the Epic Days Foundation. Mesa is a proud sponsor of the organization, which helps children and young adults with special needs build confidence and self-esteem through safe and fun adventure activities in their communities.
 

Children’s Hospital Colorado 

Trautman & Shreve participated in the 16th Annual Firehose Relay at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. For the event, participants put on firefighting gear and slalom down the track with a hose. All the fun helps raise money for child burn victims at Children's Hospital Colorado. 
 

Wreaths Across America

Bahnson Inc. and three of its subsidiaries supported Wreaths Across America. In additional to a financial donation, their employees volunteered to lay the wreaths on graves of military veterans at two cemeteries for National Wreath Day.

Hillside Children’s Center

EMCOR Services Betlem sponsored the Hillside Special Santa Program, a community partnership that collects gifts for thousands of children and families in their local area. Betlem delivered several boxes of toys collected from employees across their locations in Western New York.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul Cincinnati

DeBra-Kuempel sponsored a volunteer event for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Cincinnati. Volunteers helped out at the Neyer Outreach Center doing a variety of tasks, including assisting in the food pantry by sorting donations and stocking shelves, as well as weeding, planting, and mulching in the gardens.

American Cancer Society

Dynalectric Colorado was a Presenting Sponsor for the Portland Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, which helps fund the American Cancer Society’s research, patient support, and screening programs. Several Dynalectric employees formed a team called “Wired Walkers” to represent the company at the event.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh

EMCOR Services Scalise Industries raised money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh at their annual golf outing this year. The organization is a one-to-one youth mentoring agency serving at-risk children in Pennsylvania.

Fisher House Boston

Team members from Gaston Electrical volunteered with Fisher House Boston at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center. They took time to cook dinner and serve meals to the local veteran community and their families. 

Beds Plus

Lyons & Pinner supported BEDS Plus Care, a nonprofit that delivers emergency services to the homeless population in Southwest Suburban Cook County, including overnight shelter, housing services, and homelessness prevention.

Movember

Marelich Mechanical supported Movember, an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues. Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world and helped transform the way health services reach and support men.

Whole Vet and The Green Chair Project

Southern Industrial Constructors held their 5th Annual Southern Invitational for Charity golf tournament, which raised more than $90,000 for two local charities: Whole Vet and The Green Chair Project.  Whole Vet is an organization that guides active military members and their families through the first two years of transition into civilian life. The Green Chair Project reuses essential furnishings donated by the community to help neighbors in need.

Meriden Soup Kitchen

For the fourth year in a row, the team at Tucker Mechanical collected pantry items for their local Meriden Soup Kitchen. The kitchen is one of the few places in Tucker’s community where those in need can dependably find a hot meal, serving up to 250 people every day.

United Way of San Diego

University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc. (CA) collected 88 books for the United Way of San Diego County's Read Across America drive. The books were distributed to free libraries, elementary schools, families, and other events in their community.

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver

Trautman & Shreve spent a day volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, replacing soffit around the exterior perimeter of a house in the Park Hill area of Denver. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps people in communities across the world build or improve a place they can call home.

Bikes for Tikes

Intermech took part in the 13th Annual Bike Build for the UA Local 598 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union's Bikes to Tikes charity. For over 13 years, Bikes for Tikes and Local 598 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union have donated bicycles to community based organizations in the northwestern United States.

Intermech has donated to this event for many years, but this is the first year they put together a team to participate in the bike build.
